Who can join the team?

Any full time student in grades 6-12 in the Coachella Valley can join the team. This includes full time homeschool students in grades 6-12.

How do I sign up?

Our Team Director will send you an invitation to sign up through the SoCal League. Contact info is found here.

What does it cost to participate?

The season fee is $100, which pays for insurance for the season. Each race is $40 for middle school and $60 for high school. Scholarships are available based on need.

What equipment is needed?

A functioning bike, checked by a mechanic, an undamaged and properly fitted bike helmet, and clothing appropriate for riding. Any additional items needed will be discussed during your first practice.

What is the practice schedule?

We typically practice 3 days a week, including the weekend. Practice is normally 2 hours long during the week, and 3 hours on the weekend.

How many races are there and where are they?

There are 5 races for both middle school and high school. They are located throughout Southern California. For a current season list of races, click here.

How do I become a coach?

The Team Director will send you an invitation to sign up. All coaches are required to obtain a SoCal League certification license at one of two levels. All coaches must pass a background check. The coach certification courses include classes such concussion training, athlete abuse awareness training, risk management training, on the bike skills training, and certain levels require CPR certification.
